Best Mexican in town. Everything is made with love. Don't judge a book by its cover. Some of the best Mexican food you'll ever have in your life awaits inside.

Little road side diner Mexican restaurant. Clean. Bright. Very nice lady and man who runs behind the scene. Food was excellent. I had a very good al pastor burrito. The salsas were excellent. Mexican bottled coke. This is added to my list of quick lunch stops when in Bloomington!

Other reviews don't lie. I literally walked in here probably the first customer of the day around 10:30 on a Monday. Had just finished charging my car and was looking for the elusive hole in the wall Yelp eats. I got here, and the location was definitely not in a shopping district. Felt a little uneasy parking there, but the food was 100% worth it.

I got three tacos, steak, al pastor, and chorizo. All of them were perfect. The tortillas I think were dipped in the fryer to soften and heat them up instead of flat topping.

Also, the chips came out fresh and hot. I literally heard them drop into the fryer in back when I sat down. Fresh chips are AMAAAA-ZING.

All in all, great spot to stop, prices are great, food is great. Thanks Rosy for a fantastic meal!

We popped in for breakfast last Saturday and were impressed!  I went with the egg, bacon, hash brown, pancake combo with coffee.  Eggs cooked perfect, bacon nice and crispy, everything piping hot.  Another highlight for me was the coffee - nice and strong served with actual half n half.  Mmmmmm

The mister got a HUMONGOUS Denver omelette with hash browns and pancakes that he could not finish.

Best salsas in town - HANDS DOWN.  If you like salsa on your eggs, ask for some!  Our server brought two kinds out for us - mild (chipotle) and medium (verde).  They also have a hot (diablo) that we didn't sample.  These salsas were complex, flavorful and a fantastic compliment to the eggs and hashbrowns.  The verde was probably the best I've ever tried.  The chef/owner came out from the back to visit and we complimented his salsas.  He explained that they make them up fresh and use mostly fresh ingredients.  The verde uses fresh tomatillos - and brought a few out to show us what they look like.  They are little green tomato things that grow inside a papery little husk.

We saw another table get a vat of shrimp soup that had all sorts of goodies in it.  Even though it was like 9am, it seems if you really want a lunchy type dish, they may do it for you at that time.  NICE!

I ordered the Mexican skillet with scrambled eggs and the pecan pancakes. I also asked for hot sauce and specifically informed her that I didn't want the "gringo" special and to PLEASE make me sweat. The hot sauce was on point! The pancakes was almost like pecans with some batter (no complaints here!!!) the hash browns under the onions, peppers, cheese and chorizo was fine. However the chorizo (the ONE THING I really wanted) seemed rushed. I made it a point to complain, mainly because of how good the sauce was and how great it would've been had the chorizo had been on point (the restaurant has potential). I informed the waitress that either the cook hadn't cooked it thoroughly or the brand was no good. She informed me that her husband wasn't happy with what the truck delivered but that I was the first customer to complain. I appreciated her honesty and she said she wanted me to come back. She didn't charge me but I paid anyway because I felt it was an honest mistake as opposed to laziness. I will be back and hopefully they can redeem themselves because despite the ugliness of the location (true hole in the wall) the rest of my order was great. I WILL return some day!!!
